This guide assumes that you already have a parent account, and you are already linked to your child. Click here if you need to set up an account. Once logged in, click on your name at the top right, then on your child's name.
You should see this border at the top, indicating you are viewing as your child:
Next, click on your child's name at the top right, then on 'Settings':
Once you are in the settings for this child, click on the Notification tab at the top:
Here, you can choose to turn the email summary / digest on or off, choose whether you get emails daily or weekly and when (day or time) you receive the email. You can also choose whether you're notified if there are overdue submissions.
Remember to click Save Changes when you are done!
What does the email digest look like?
The email digest contains up-to-date grading information, any overdue submissions, upcoming events or assignments, updates posted to courses, and recent activity. For example:
